On a field trip, eleven year old Thi and her mother Tam get into an argument. Angrily, Thi runs into the forest through which Tam fled to Germany eleven years ago. The girl gets lost and finally discovers her heavily pregnant mother and a friend on the run. The past turns into a traumatic reality.
